Alex Freeman: 1/5 Stars 18/01/2020 Poor management Went into the Scunthorpe lakeside branch to buy hair dye that had been seen on the shelves for a few weeks. Went to till to be told they shouldn’t be on the shelf as they are illegal. Was then told it was to do with HR and they didn’t know they was out on the shelves as HR had not emailed to tell them to remove them. I explained how I was annoyed and how I felt management/staff should communicate more and a lot more checks should be done. This is every misleading and unacceptable Bargain Buys has not yet responded. Jack Charlotte: 1/5 Stars 16/09/2019 My little girl We brought some chocolate in there today which is the 16th of September After half way tho eating the chocolate she was sick everywhere when I walked back into the shop and cheak the date it was from February which means it 8 months out of date my daughter will not stop being sick and is really unwell I don’t think it right to sell stuff that long out of date and I want this sorted. Peter Osik: 1/5 Stars 20/09/2017 I was asked to leave the store for no reason I went shopping with my gf and i walked in to bargain buys west bromwich and then a guard come over to me and said im not alond in the and told me to lebve could not give me a reason why just he said head office told him im not alond in the store ive being trying to find out why and bargain buys dont seem to care never shop in the place again Bargain Buys has not yet responded. Kate Friend: 1/5 Stars 14/03/2017 Out of date drinks sold in the store I had visited bargain buys in gravesend last week and purchased a bottle of doctor pepper . I had drank nearly all the bottle when I realised that it didn't taste right . There was floating bits in the drink, my mum checked the sell by date and it was 6 months out of date !!! Staff wasn't helpful at all . This made me very up set . One member of staff compleatly egnored me and she didn't speak English . She just walked over to the drinks and had taken numberoues amounts of drinks of the shelf and put into a trolley. The manager was very helpful . I was told that customer services would contact me . This hasn't happened. Unfortunately I have had to do the contacting . I have sent 4 emails stating the problem and have had one email back saying it will be investigated . I explained that I was sicking for 2 days and felt very ill . I had to cancel a meal with my family that live in Ireland that had came down this way .i was so ill . This isn't acceptable ! No body has bothered contacting me. What happened to customers being first pirioty . Iam taking further action . Jefferson Claire: 1/5 Stars 06/07/2015 Rude staff i was waiting to be served but was ignored by to very rude staff having chats about how bad the company was to work for , how someone had rang in sick and the till staff were making bad comments about this person i nice lady called cheryl came along i think she was the supervisor and asked them kindly to stop as they were being very un proffesional and customers come 1st which i thought she handled the situation great and said sorry to me for having to wait then one of the till staff i belive her name was shannon turned around waving her arms in the air saying what can they do sack me, let them sack me i dont care i hate it here anyway then got very abusive as a customer i come into your store to shop not listen to this kind of attitude from staff it is out of order and not a very good image for your company i shall not be shopping in the rotherham store again Bargain Buys has not yet responded.
