Peter Taylor: 1/5 Stars 02/02/2018 lack of care.No one responds to phone or e-mail. My security system has problems and had done for days. It causes problems to my phone.. No one takes phone calls and e-mails but they continue to take my money. I am fed up with the company as they do not give the service they promised. Rancom Security has not yet responded. Angela Bobela: 1/5 Stars 16/01/2018 Refund on a five year contract following death of consumer Have written to rancom on several occasions regarding a refund following a sudden death no replys eventually managed to contact admin on phone rancom stated gad not received correspondence! Sent copy letters recorded delivery still no reply rang again verbal reply was no refund case closed what a sympathetic company pushed & harrased an old lady in paying up front for five years now not bothered as have already got money for the next three years whilst customer dead! Pamela Abbott: 1/5 Stars 30/05/2017 Not responding to a request after alarm went wrong. On Thursday the 25th May we suddenly had the fire brigade arrive at our home to say we had a fire.This information was because of a fault with the alarm system. We have tried since then to contact Rancom Securities without success until this morning,30th of May, our alarm system is out of action and they are telling us that they will not be able to attend until next week. They are now trying to do it over the phone,so far without success. Now they are saying that they will try and get to us tomorrow. We are not happy with the company, we were taken over by them some time back, when I realised we had not had any check ups for over a year, they used to be every six months, I contacted them to see why, I was told that they only did check ups if we asked for them, this was the first we knew of this. My husband seems to think it is the the same company but it has been restructured. It would seem that we are paying out every month and getting nothing back for our money. Mrs SJ Sheriff: 1/5 Stars 20/08/2016 Mrs SJ Sheriff We. have complained that the company that have taken over SSH Security/ Storm as they went into liquidation, unbeknown to us, and keep phoning for £2,000 plus £149 per 18 months for batteries, as we have paid over £5,500 to the original security company for 10 years monitoring etc, we cannot see why we have to pay anymore. We are both pensioners and feel that we are being harassed, the alarms are going off at all times of the day and night so we are now worried about using the system. We would now like to contact the Ombudsman to sort this out, if you can't do anything about this, please email a telephone number or email address so that this awfull and upsetting problem can be rectified.
