Katherine Steele: 1/5 Stars 10/10/2019 No work done but demanding money I made a mistake booking The company as I realised I was covered on an insurance policy after booking with the insurance company, I texted Rightio to cancel the appointment, but the plumber turned up anyway. He looked at the leak scratching his head, this is going to cost a lot of money he said and i realised this was the wrong plumber and asked him to leave, as he did he shut of the water which was flooding the house. I have now been repeatedly texted asking for £130 for a completed job. I thankfully did not give them my account details. My job was finished by the right plumber who fitted a new internal stop tap and pipes RIGHTIO has not yet responded. Susan Bowie: 1/5 Stars 23/10/2019 DANGEROUS FRAUDSTERS BEWARE DO NOT GET THIS COMPANY ...BEWARE ,.. HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. YOU ASK THEM TO COME TO YOUR HOUSE TO GIVE YOU A QUOTE, WHEN THEY ARRIVE THEY WILL ASK YOU FOR A CALL OUT FEE WHICH IS £140.00... IF YOU DO NOT PAY THEM THAT £140.00 FOR (AS YET) NO WORK DONE OR AS YET EVEN A QUOTE GIVEN .. THEY START TO GET THREATENING AND WILL ATTEMPT TO BULLY YOU INTO PAYING.. IN YOUR OWN HOME ... SHOULD THAT FAIL THE NTHEY WILL TRY LATER ON OVER THE PHONE .... I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH .. BEWARE .... YOU ARE ALL WARNED ... DO NOT GET THIS COMPANY !!! RIGHTIO has not yet responded. Tony Bui: 1/5 Stars 01/03/2020 Unlucky to contact with this company In emergency try to fix my water heat boiler when they falling down, try to look on google and contact with this company, then the engineer come say that can’t be used again needs to new one . He just tidy up , jod done and charge me 392 £ for that . Never contact with this company again RIGHTIO has not yet responded. Yan Guan: 1/5 Stars 22/01/2020 Engineer gave incorrect advise charged 142 pounds for doing nothing On Monday, I have this company a call explain we have no hot water in the flat, and the whole flat is supply by electricity, the call operator says they will arrange someone to visit me in the next few hours, and they will try to fix my problems as soon as possisble which sounds good. And they ask me a bank details, which I really don’t want to give my bank detail to anyone, they said to me, they won’t charge me anything until they has been complete the job and fix the problems. On Monday afternoon, the engineer finally came, he has been late on hour. But I am still happy he can came, i explained the problems I have in this Flat, and indicate the fuse box keep tripping, he took around 45mins to check, and told me he would have to replace the thermostat on My brand new cylinder, he said he will need to order the parts and probably come back on Thursday to complete the job, I told he to call me and let me know the price before he ordering. then he ask me to sign on his tablet to confirm he has been here. After he leaving, I gave a call to the plumber who installed my brand new cylinder, he is a reliable person very honest, on the phone, he told me i must been lied by the engineer who came this afternoon, so the plumber came on Tuesday, and have a look, he took 5 mins to fix my problems, he found out the problems very quick, and he told me there are two Emerson thermostat on my cylinder, once both two been switch off, it will cause the fuse box keep tripping, but we just need to turn one off, leave one on, soon we have hot water, and the fuse box is not tripping anymore, so I believed I am been lied by the engineer. I gave a call to rightio immediately on Tuesday, explained all the things, and tell them I am really not happy your job, you can’t charges money from My bank, they promise on the phone, they wouldn’t charged me, but they lied, actually they have took 142 pounds from my bank, and I called back, they said, they will charge as labor fee, I explained that the engineer didn’t do anything thing to fix my problems, and he gave the incorrect advise, why I should pay 142 pounds for checking the problems, which he didn’t check out the problems! They ask me to wait until the customers contact me in next few days, but they didn’t, I didn’t received any call from them since Tuesday. Never use this company again, can’t believe it has lots good reviews. RIGHTIO has not yet responded. Jack Hodson: 1/5 Stars 30/11/2018 Wont refund deposit and work not completed Called out an engineer who was here 5 minutes took my mothers card details and charged 154 pound that they said was a deposit.He was supposed to arrive the next day and never turned up then they changed to the next day still no one turns up and if you thought that was bad they didnt turn up again on the next day. They refuse to give our deposit back. Rightio are an absolute fraud and should not be allowed to scam people like this. RIGHTIO has not yet responded.
